5.3km Run/Walk or 10.6km Run to raise funds for the over 1 million villagers in Burma for whom running is not an option
Burma has been ravaged by ongoing civil war for over 60 years. This conflict has lead to many ethnic people being driven from their villages and likelihoods. This run/walk is to raise support for the work of Partners Relief and Development a NZ registered charity that works to brings emergency relief, sustainable development, care and advocacy for the people affected by this ongoing conflict.
WHERE: One Tree Hill/Cornwall Park (opposite Stardome Observatory
WHEN: Saturday,13th Oct, Pre Race Briefing 10:05am followed by staggered start.
COST: $20 or raise at least $20 through sponsorship and run for free.
