"We came back again to Nol Bu Ne as we love the Korean food and the service provided by the staff makes you feel at home. Very quick, efficient and friendly. We loved their dumplings and their sizzling hot plates."
"Nol Bu Ne is my favourite Korean restaurant I have found thus far. The sizzling pork is so perfect my boyfriend and I fight over who gets to have it in front of them. The chicken is great too. Next time, the beef! Adore the sweet potato side too, wish I could order, like, seven plates of them. And it is dead cheap! Amazing value for Korean in the CBD."

"I can't speak too highly about this restaurant where I've eaten on numerous occasions and held my birthday party there. Delicious mains are no more than $12 a head and you get free pickles and nibbles whilst you wait. In addition to the fantastic food, the service is customer based as it used to be, nothing is too much trouble and the owners are happy to oblige with all tastes. For instance, my son in law wanted a sizzling beef platter but not too spicy and the chef gladly made it that way. If you are not familiar with Korean food, ask about the ingredients and tell them what you like (and don't like), they are only too happy to make YOU happy. It's clean and bright and seats about 30+ My favourite restaurant (and people) of all time.:)"
"Mojung Restaurant is all about the little details. From the moment you walk in, you're met with friendly and warm service and complimentary pickles while you begin the difficult task of choosing what tempting dishes to order from the menu. Traditional Korean hot rice tea is served in the winter to warm you up, while in the cooler months chilled cinnamon tea is served. The meals are fantastic value, and of course the banchan (side dishes) are refilled as often as you need. Wherever you may live, Mojung is a great reason to make the trek out to West Auckland."

"I brought my friend who loves eating Korean cuisine, truly loved the food at Faro. They not only use the best and freshest ingredients but they pay great attention to detail. The ambience too is very beautiful and excellent service was provided. Highly recommended and will keep coming back again."
" I've been quite fond of Faro ever since I visited it a while back with my best friend. My very first meal kept me coming back for more. It was the ambiance, the allure of the side dishes, the fact that i nearly met Big Bang that really ticked it for me. This time I had their lunch set, sweet and spicy pork. It was def true to its name and the level of spice was quite perfect for me, as in there is actually a kick to it."

"A bit out of town but definitely worth a visit every now and then. Real korean BBQ at a great price."
" I have to say that Choi's Korean BBQ offers the best Korean food I have ever eaten. The prices are cheap and the staff are very friendly. If you live far away, it's worth the extra time to experience Choi's! Highly recommended!"

"Had a birthday dinner here. Was great, had the set BBQ menu and the owner and waitresses were really helpful and friendly. This dish was one of many we had that balanced out the night. Well done Faro. Cho wai yo."

"This place may look small from the outside but once inside you can take a couple of steps into a long asile of tables fit for small and big groups. As with any Korean place the side dishes keep on coming (as requested). p.s having a buzzer on each table makes reordering that much easier. "
"Authentic Korean dishes in a great location. This place feels like you are in Korea, everything looks and tastes authentic. It even has the bells to call for the inevitable 2nd bowl of rice and kimchi."
" A very nice authentic Korean restaurant in downtown Auckland. My wife who lived in Seoul for a year loves their food so that's why we have been back a couple of times in a month (and we only eat out once a week at most). Service - Very friendly and efficient. Always helpful and smiling :) Food - The hot rice cake dish was divine while the spicy beef soup was also nice. The bibimbap was not as filling as other dishes but they do give you the bottle of hot sauce to adjust the taste to your liking. Also, the side-dishes are always authentic and the kimchi cabbage tastes like what you would get in Korea. Value - The price is very reasonable. 37.50 for 3 dish and very good portion. Atmosphere - Decor is typical korean restaurant. There's a bell on every table to call for service so that's always helpful. Overall - If you are in downtown Auckland, this is a nice place to try out. We will return again, I'm sure."

"Came here last night for dinner with the family- just walking around the main road and decided to stop here. Easy to find and not too quiet or packed. Nice ambience. Great seating with magazines for reading. Self serve drinks. Nice menu and good service. Very good portions, very well priced and recommend! Delicious. Came out stuffed! Make sure you have room to fill up your stomach! Definitely go!"
" Came to this restaurant a few nights ago with the family. The staff were friendly and they had a great range of food in their menu. There were magazines to read while waiting and drinks that could be self-served. The food was tasty and good in size. A restaurant recommended for the people who crave some Asian food for dinner."

"Korean goodness with side dishes that keep on coming (one of the side dishes is egg with vinegrette - tastes unexpectedly delicious) and major value for money."
"This isn’t the nicest place to dine in, but I love getting takeaways from this Korean BBQ place. The portions sizes are big enough for me to eat half for dinner and the rest for lunch the next day, and everything is always well cooked. The staff are friendly and you never have to wait too long."

" Not only is this place my local, but the food is super delicious, generous and affordable! The best part of this restaurant is the owner, she is super friendly, bubbly and will always recommend some delicious dishes."
" There are quite a few food places that have opened up in Highland Park village in the last year or so, and Sura remains competitive with its low prices and reasonably good food. I first came here upon a recommendation from a friend. The decor is plain, but there are plenty of tables and seats available despite being a small restaurant. The menu price range is around the $10 mark, and I chose the spicy beef dish with noodles. Food arrived in a timely manner and was of decent portion size, and I was also served some condiments like the spicy kimchi and other picked vegetables. Service here is great, as the staff are attentive. There is room for improvement however- the table I was at was a little sticky, which I didn't mind too much but would put other customers off. I'd return again as the food here is good. "

"I had never tried Korean BBQ until my friend brought me here the other night. Because you only eat every 10 minutes or so while you wait for your meat to cook, you can eat all night! It is definitely worth the money for such delicious meat."
" I've been lived in Korea. I have experienced the best of Korean BBQ's. I know what is great, and what isn't. This isn't great but its decent. "

"I live far too close to this place for it to be good for me, but for the sake of my health I try to limit how often I go in for their spicy fried chicken - highly addictive, crunchy nuggets of deliciousness coated in Korean-style sweet & spicy sauce. It's quite literally finger-lickin' good. "

"I love going to Full House with either my bf for a cheap date or with friends for a nice filling meal. We always order the BBQ beef because it is sooo delicious! And I always ask for refills for the beansprouts. I've never had to complain about the service, and the price has always been great for my limited budget. If it's your first time going there though, you might be put off by the fact that the restaurant is underground. Don't worry; it's not dodgy at all! It's well-lit, spacious enough, and if you need service you press a button to notify the staff. If you're with a group larger than 4 people, I suggest pushing together some tables. That's what we did for a friend's birthday last year. Oh, and if you go to Full House, order the BBQ beef. Or any of the BBQ dishes. They're super yum! And you can share the meat between 2-3 people. :D "
" Full house is an underground Korean Restaurant which is in CBD Akl. It has a big space and comfy sofa for customer sitting and enjoying the meals. The full house is quite traditional and mixed European fast food. They provide free small dishes in each table and it's free refill. The small dishes we had were not enough for four of us, and taste was not that good compare with the previous experiences. Main food that we order in short the BBQ pork was the most delicious. other things like kimichi fried rice and BBQ chicken and tofu soup were not that good tho. The people was serving us is quite nice and polite. The whole environment is good, big enough for people to chat with, but I've noticed there is no big table for over 4 people to sit. "
