Waiheke Island Garden Safari

Garden lovers will delight in the Jassy Dean Trust Waiheke Island Garden Safari which is set to take place later in the year.

The Safari will be an opportunity to delve into some of Waiheke Islands private gardens. It is a self-drive tour of 12-14 gardens which are not normally open to the public. Waiheke Art in the Garden Art Auction is an attraction of the weekend, and will be held on Friday, November 9 to kick-start the weekend.

The Garden Safari benefits the Jassy Dean Trust which helps families with sick children.

This is Waiheke Island’s annual fundraising garden event and has run every second weekend in November each year since 2001.

So gather your friends, take the car and make a weekend of it.
