Kumeu Art In the Garden is always a popular feast for the eyes of garden admirers, and the 2012 event is set to be bigger and better than before.
This is one of New Zealand’s leading and fastest growing art in the garden events, showing works by more than 80 of the country's talented Artists and Sculptors within the gallery of four of Kumeu’s award winning gardens.
More than 1000 works of art will be available for purchase during the festival which will take you into beautiful private local gardens that are normally not open to the public.
The gardens on the tour have been created over many years and showcase a range of vegetation, colour and smells - something for all your senses!
And to add more flavour, there will be performances at each garden from 12 and 2pm, with local musicians from Kaipara College, Massey High School and other groups in the area providing beautiful tunes.
Kumeu Art in the Garden takes place over the weekend of October 27-28.
