Guy Fawkes Day is just around the corner, and we all know what that means - fireworks! There are smaller fireworks displays leading up to the main event on the night of November 5, but here are the main public fireworks displays taking place in Auckland.
Waitakere Fireworks, Trusts Stadium, Henderson
Saturday, November 5, $40 family pass
This celebration bang on the night of Guy Fawkes promises heaps of exciting entertainment including acrobatic flying plane displays, surf life saving demonstration, cheerleaders, a marching band and a laser light and flame light show topped off by the grand fireworks finale. The event is alcohol-free, but food and drinks are available for purchase.
Aqualectrix Fireworks Extravaganza, Pukekohe Park Raceway, Manukau Road
Gates open 3pm on Saturday November 5.
Family Pass $30.00 (2 adults and up to 4 children).
Adult $12.00, Child (under 14) $5.00, Under 2 free.
Pukekohe Park Raceway will be the venue for a fireworks extravaganza. This year, the annual fireworks event will take place on the same day as the V8 qualifying at Pukekohe Park Raceway, Take along a blanket, jackets and the family and enjoy an afternoon of festivity finishing off with the fireworks display after the sun goes down.
