The New Zealand Post Group is our parent company. They're also a gold sponsor of the New Zealand International Festival of the Arts. As part of that sponsorship, they promote a programme called SchoolFest, which looks to give kids access and encouragement to engage with the festival.
One of the activities NZ Post supported this year was to bus 200 kids into a showing of a film of Peter and the Wolf (accompanied by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra).
Talented young film maker Ro Tierney (whose 'Day it Snowed in Wellington' has been viewed 312,000 times) was commissioned to capture the day, and the film below resulted. It's really neat - enjoy.
